MINNEAPOLIS— After a 40-year career in the hospitality industry, Peter Blyth, executive vice president of development for Radisson Hotels & Resorts, has decided to accept early retirement from Carlson Companies Inc., said the company. Blyth will, however, continue to actively share his expertise with Carlson through consulting. He first came to Radisson Hotels & Resorts in 1987 as vice president/operations when Radisson had just 45 hotels. Later, he spearheaded Radissons rapid global franchisegrowth to over 430 hotels in 60 countries. In addition to hospitality consulting for Carlson, Blyth said he plans to return to continuing education at the University of Minnesota.
