NEW YORK—The Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association’s (BLLA) annual Boutique Hotel Investment Conference will be held at the Florence Gould Hall of the French Institute, New York.
Among the speakers will be hospitality entrepreneur Ian Schrager, who returns to the event for the fourth time, and Triumph Hotels co-owner Gerald Barad, who will also lead a discussion of the structured investment sector. Panelists for that topic will include David Orowitz, SVP of development and acquisitions, The Trump Organization; Stan Hartling, CEO, The Hartling Group; and Marco Novella, COO, Grace Hotels.
“It is vital to hear from the strongest key players within the hospitality industry regarding the investments and value of leading boutique hotels and management organizations,” says BLLA founder and CEO Frances Kiradjian. “This year’s conference will aim to teach, inform and encourage all participating sectors of the boutique hospitality sphere.”
Restaurateur Jody Pennette, CEO, cb5 Hospitality Consulting, will moderate a discussion focused on food & beverage. Speakers will include Scott Gerber, owner, Gerber Bars; Glen Coben, principal, Glen & Co.; Jan Rozenveld, managing director, Ace Hotels; and Dayne Lee, principal, Powerstrip Design.
The event will also include networking sessions, a welcome breakfast and a closing cocktail reception.
