LAS VEGAS— The 3,000-room Bellagio Hotel & Casino here closed yesterday after it experienced a partial blackout when a main power line failed. Thousands of guests were moved to other hotels, according to an Associated Press report. When the blackout hit, emergency power to the casino came on, providing dim light throughout the building, the report said. A power line coming into the resort failed, Alan Feldman, a spokesman for MGM Mirage, which owns the hotel, said in the report. Feldman said thousands of feet of cable would have to be replaced and indicated that the hotel would not reopen until this morning at the earliest. There were no reports of any injuries or thefts.
