LOS ANGELES Best Western International has signed with Atlanta-based THINKologies which will implement the testing of a customer Guest ePortcard to enhance relationships with BWI guests.
The customized platform will launch on March 1 in a beta test of 125 BWI hotels. Testing will go on for eight months.
THINKologies will develop a platform that incorporates multiple channels of communication for guests, including an interactive voice response and the Internet via the Best Western website and a customized URL. The ePortcard will compile the data from thse sources and produce integrated reports the BWI s corporate staff and the member hotels.
THINKologies president, hospitaity, is John Russell, who this year chairs the American Hotel and Motel Association. The announcement was made at the UCLA Investment Conference, being held here this week. (01/17/01)
