PHOENIX— Best Westerns quest to add more hotels to its portfolio, which now numbers some 4,043 hotels worldwide, appeared to be undiminished in the third quarter, according to HVS International. In the third quarter ending August 31, Best Western added 75 new hotels to its portfolio, including 29 in Europe and the Middle East. The company noted four key additions to the brand: the 126-room Sodehotel La Woluwe in Brussels; the 118-room Gatwick Worth Hotel at Crawley in West Sussex, U.K.; the 121-room Hotel Hamburg International in Germany; and the 100- room Marina Wadi El Dome Resort Hotel near Suez in Egypt.
