Best Western, Red Cross Provide Earthquake Relief

PHOENIX Best Western International has teamed up with the American Red Cross to help provide relief and rebuild the broken communities from the earthquake that occurred in India on January 26. Best Western has asked its employees, hotel members and customers around the world to participate in a global fund drive with all proceeds going directly to treating survivors and assisting the more than 500,000 people who are homeless or have been displaced in the western state of Gudjarat. Additionally, Best Western International will match up to $25,000 of the funds collected. (2/19/01)
