PHOENIX— Multi-Systems, Inc. has installed a Windows-based property management system and wide area network for the four Best Western Peppertree properties located in Spokane, Auburn and Yakima, WA. “We needed a property management system that could take all four of our properties to the next level of Windows-based technology with a seamless integrated solution as easily as possible,” said Rita Santillanes, owner of the Peppertree properties. MSI installed a wide area network which integrated all four properties together and completely automated all hotel operations and activities. This was accomplished through the installation of a private network with T1 and wireless communications. The four integrated properties now share sales and marketing action plans including multi-property bookings, yield management and an interface to Best Western’s central reservation system. The multi-property integration also brings consolidation and cost savings on the operations front, according to MSI. All accounting is now centralized at the corporate office for daily corporate reporting. A “one button,” complete night audit for all four properties may also be implemented from any one of the hotels.
