OCHO RIOS, JAMAICA— Sandal Resorts International is preparing to unveil the latest addition to its Beaches Resort portfolio, Beaches Boscobel Resort & Golf Club located here. The 230-unit resort is slated to open July 1 following an $18 million renovation and expansion of the property which was built in 1959 and recently acquired from Guardian Holding Co. Set on 10 acres along a sandy beach, the resort will offer rooms in nine categories including oceanfront suites, honeymoon suites, one- and two-bedroom suites and family suites that sleep up to five people. Beaches Boscobel has a 2,000-square-foot fitness center and day spa; three fresh-water pools and three Jacuzzis; 2,500 square feet of meeting space; and five restaurants and seven bars. A variety of land and water sports are available.
