Barceló Taps Taylor For Marketing Post

NEW YORK— Barceló Hotels & Resorts has named Fiona Taylor to the newly created position of director of sales and marketing. Taylor will be headquartered in the greater New York area and represent all Barceló Hotels & Resorts around the world with a special emphasis on the Latin American and the Caribbean properties. Taylor joins Barceló from LIBGO Travel in New Jersey where she was director of marketing for the Caribbean and Mexico. She has also served as the regional director of marketing for the Creative Marketing Alliance, which represents hotels throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. Prior to that she held sales and marketing positions with Sol Meliá Hotels and Resorts. Barceló Hotels and Resorts owns, manages or franchises hotels in 16 countries with more than 28,000 rooms.
