LAS VEGAS— Aztar Corp. has completed the acquisition of the half-interest that it did not own in Tropicana Enterprises for $117.5 million and the assumption of about $49 million in debt. Aztar, based in Phoenix, said in January it would acquire the rest of Tropicana Enterprises, the partnership that controls the 34 acres of land and buildings related to the Tropicana in Las Vegas. Aztar reports that it continues to study potential development of the land, although it added it has no immediate plans for redevelopment. Las Vegas Review-Journal
