BANGKOK—Avani Hotels & Resorts has debuted a new brand extension, Avani+, with the launch of its first hotel in Luang Prabang, Laos.
Launched in 2011, Avani operates over 3,800 keys in 15 countries across multiple regions and with a further 3,000 new keys in the pipeline.
Each Avani+ will tell its own unique story so that guests will discover a little something extra, from architecture to design to location and beyond, according to the company. Avani+ properties will offer reimagined dining concepts with specialty restaurants and rooftop or al fresco bar concepts. In addition, Avani+ will introduce guests to the destination through the digital space experience for modern explorers, giving travelers insight into local culture, hot spots and travel tips about urban cities and, in some cases, off-the-beaten track destinations.
Avani+ Luang Prabang is situated in central Luang Prabang, close to the Mekong River, Royal Palace and Night Market. The hotel offers French neoclassical architecture that blends into the neighborhood, as well as French colonial-inspired interior design. The 53 guestrooms and suites each reflect an intimate, open-plan feel with French-styled louvered wooden doors that open to a balcony or terrace overlooking either the pool or a private courtyard.
“Avani+ hotels will elevate themselves by being more than just a unique design or the perfect city-center location,” explained Alejandro Bernabé, VP of pperations for Avani Hotels & Resorts. “Avani has always focused on offering the details that matter to our guests and Avani+ will take that to the next level, infusing more style and taking a non-standard approach to our upscale hotel concept, going beyond providing premium facilities, amenities, and service.”
