COLUMBIA, MD Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in The Bahamas, which is owned and operated by Sun International, has selected MICROS Systems, a provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, to install its 9700 Hospitality Management System (HMS) in the resort. The Windows NT-based solution will support the 2,317-room resorts high volume and multiple revenue centers.

The 9700 HMS can produce customized reports in real time, and allows multiple users to operate other software programs while the system is in use. The system can also automate specific utilities, allowing reports and other functions to run simultaneously each day, unattended. (5/15/01)
