HONOLULU, HI— Aston Hotels & Resorts Hawaii reports that its nearly $40 million renovations program for individually owned Aston-managed properties is on track for completion this year. This include renovations that started post-Sept. 11, noted the management company. The program was started back in 2000. Recent renovation projects (totaling more than $32.9 million) that either began or are wrapping up in 2002 include: the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotels $30 million renovation, which is set for completion this fall; the recently begun $2.1 million renovation of the Aston Waikiki Parkside, which is set for completion this October; and the finished $100,000 lobby remodel, $100,000 pool deck renovation and $100,000 barbecue upgrade Whaler on Kaanapali Beach.
