Ares Management Buys Hotel Amenities Supplier

LOS ANGELES— Ares Management LLC, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has formed a deal in which it will purchase BFMA Holding Corp. and its operating subsidiary Marietta Corp., according to a published report. Florida financier Barry Florescue is the seller. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but an individual that is familiar with the deal stated that the company is being sold at a price of about $150 million. Marietta Corp. is a Cortland, NY-based company that supplies bar soap, shampoo, bath gel and other amenities to hotels and gift shops.
