ATLANTA Lodgian has named Thomas Arasi as president/CEO of the company, which has been up for sale for months. He will immediately replace Robert Cole, who has held that position for the last two years. Cole will continue at Lodgian as a director, and was named chairman of a special committee that will oversee the potential sale of the company, including the ongoing negotiations with Edgecliff Holdings. Until recently, Arasi was president of Bass Hotels & Resorts- The Americas, a division consisting of 256 hotels. (2/12/01)
