ROCKPORT, MA— Matt Anzivino has been named general manager for the Rockport Inn and Suites here. Formerly the Sandy Bay Motor Inn the property is owned and operated by Maine Course Hospitality Group. Most recently, Anzivino operated the Stone Horse Resort in Cape Cod. Prior to that he was involved with management of a number of Marriott hotels, including a Courtyard and Residence Inn near Boston. The Rockport Inn and Suites expects to conduct an extensive renovation before it reopens in May. Included in this project are the addition of 32-inch, LCD HD flat-panel TVs; new bathrooms and guestrooms; renovation of the large pool, fitness room and public spaces; as well as three meeting rooms. The hotel plans to offer amenities similar to leading hotel brands, including a business center, high-speed, wireless access and deluxe continental breakfast. Maine Course Hospitality Group also operates other hotels in Maine, including the Courtyard by Marriott in South Portland and Bangor; Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott in Brunswick and Augusta; Econolodge Inn and Suites, Augusta; Hampton Inn and Suites, Rockland; Homewood Suites by Hilton in Scarborough; and Best Westerns in Freeport, ME, and Hampton, NH;
