CANCUN— The JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa recently unveiled its new 35,000-square-foot, three-level spa, making it the largest spa in Latin America. Incorporating Mayan-inspired treatments and raw materials from the region including fresh fruit, stone, crystal, incense, mud, and milk, the new spa features a serenity room and 16 private treatment rooms used for massage therapies, body scrubs, manicures, facials and healing hydro-thalassic baths. To celebrate the opening, the resort has introduced the ‘Mayan Essentials Spa Package,’ which includes accommodations in a premier ocean-view room, buffet breakfast, daily spa passes, welcome amenity, and 4 pm late check out. Guests will also be able to experience the spa with two treatments per room, per stay. Located oceanfront in Cancuns ‘hotel zone,’ just two miles from the convention center in downtown Cancun, the 449-room JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa, opened its doors in March 2001.
