LAS VEGAS— Ameristar Casinos has named Ursula Conway to the position of chief information officer. In this newly created role, Craig Neilsen, Ameristar president/CEO, said Conway will work with corporate executives to align technology efforts with key business objectives, and monitor advances in technology that can further improve Ameristars financial and operating performance. Neilsen said she will also be responsibile for all of Ameristars information technology functions, including development of new capabilities, system implementation, contract management and property support. Conway has been involved in information technology management for 16 years and joined Ameristar in 2000 as vp/information technology.
