TEMPE, AZ—Arizona will be getting its first Aloft property here next month. The Aloft Tempe is the first new construction hotel to open in the city in 10 years. The five-story, 136-room property will feature all of the Aloft brand hallmarks including nine-foot ceilings, oversized windows and a modern, open design. The hotel will also offer a touch & go kiosk in the lobby for self-service check-in, room selection and room mapping services as well as a database of local information on area attractions, nightlife and dining. The $25 million Aloft Tempe is being developed as a joint venture between Triyar Hospitality and Warburg Pincus Real Esatate I, LP. Triyar plans to bring an additional Aloft to Arizona in North Scottsdale.
