STAMFORD, CT—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.’s Aloft brand has opened a property in Raleigh, North Carolina. The brand’s fifth hotel in the state, Aloft Raleigh is located across the street from the Memorial Belltower at North Carolina State University. Owned by a joint venture between The Bernstein Companies and Bell View Founders, Aloft Raleigh offers 135 loft-like rooms.

Aloft Raleigh features a lobby with an art gallery wall and grand glass staircase to a second floor lobby, an outdoor terrace on the second floor offering views of the NCSU campus and downtown Raleigh, and a 55-ft. sculpture created by Raleigh artist Thomas Sayre.

Amenities at Aloft Raleigh include an outdoor Splash pool; a 24-hour gym; 1,600 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space; re:fuel at Aloft—a one-stop gourmet grab & go food and beverage area; and the brand’s signature W XYZ bar. In addition, the hotel development includes two of Raleigh’s favorite restaurants: Gonza Tacos Y Tequila and Jubala Village Coffee, both located on the street level of the development.
The hotel is close to the Raleigh Convention Center, the BTI Performing Arts Center, Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Research Triangle Park.
