MIAMI, FL— Occidental-Allegro Hotels & Resorts has reopened its Allegro Resort Pineapple Beach, located in Long Bay, Antigua, following a renovation of its 180 rooms. To draw business, the property is offering a grand reopening rate of $126 (superior room) per person, per night, based on double occupancy, valid to January 15, 2002. The all-inclusive package includes accommodations, unlimited meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, nightly entertainment, non-motorized watersports, landsports, beginner’s scuba clinics, taxes and gratuities. Occidental-Allegro Hotels & Resorts currently operates more than 80 city hotels and beach resort properties in Spain, Portugal, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, St. Kitts, Aruba, Antigua, Tunisia and Morocco.
