LONDON— Producer turned businessman Kris Kliszewicz has raised a reported £100 million (US$154.4 million) in order to construct Shakespeares World, a 200-acre theme park near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, U.K, which will include a new 4-star hotel. Kliszewicz had hoped to involve the Royal Shakespeare Company in the development through a joint venture, reported HVS International, but it turned his offer down. If the Enigma Project is given planning permission, then the first phase of the work will see the construction of a set for Enigma, the feature film based on Shakespeares life. These buildings will be permanent and will be joined in a second phase of building work, due to be completed by summer 2004, by a themed four-star hotel. SOURCE: HVS International
