ATLANTA— All-Hotels, the online hotel reservation service, conducted a survey last month at www.all-hotels.com, asking travelers about their attitudes towards hotel rooms; and found out, among other things, poor quality toilet paper and difficulty in controlling room temperatures were the top two complaints of hotel guests. Approximately 48% of Americans confessed to inspecting the bathroom as their first order of business in a hotel room. And, according to the survey, women are more likely to complain about the size of their guestroom than men. In addition, 40% of Americans call home while away; twice as many women as men order room service; and women are twice as likely a to check out the mini-bar.
