ARLINGTON, VA— Interstate Hotels & Resorts reported that Terry Alder has rejoined the company as vp/operations and Hunter Webster has joined the mega management firm as vp/revenue management. A 30-year industry veteran, Alder began his hospitality career as a room-service manager at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. From 1985 – 2003, he worked for Interstate Hotels Corp., Interstate Hotels & Resorts’ predecessor company, as general manager at a number of leading hotels nationwide. In his new position, he will oversee the operations of a portfolio of 16 hotels. Webster brings with him 17 years of hospitality experience with the nation’s two largest hotel brands. He joins Interstate from Hilton Hotels Corp., where he was senior director/revenue management for the eastern U.S. Previously, he served 14 years with Marriott International, where he rose from reservation manager at the Long Island Marriott to senior manager/revenue analysis and strategy-lodging revenue management.
