LOS ANGELES— The Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) here has launched a new Drive-In Program— an offering aimed at capitalizing on U.S. travelers’ recent predilection for driving rather than flying to their destination. Designed to encourage guests traveling by car to stay at an airport property, the program includes free parking, free shuttle service to the Hughes Promenade and Fox Hill Mall, free breakfast, and a free beverage (all at a rate of $99 per-night, single). With the 573-room hotel centrally located near such attractions as Venice Beach, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, the Staples Center, Santa Monica, Disneyland and Universal Studios, Four Points LAX VP/General Manager Phil Baxter maintained his property “is ideally situated for a road trip to the Los Angeles area.”
