MCKINNEY, TX—The new Sheraton McKinney Hotel, which will be managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, has opened its doors.

The $38-million project represents McKinney’s first upscale, full-service hotel and features 187 guestrooms and 10 suites. It is connected to a 20,000-sq.-ft. event center with a 7,630-sq.-ft. ballroom. The new Sheraton enhances McKinney’s bustling community by offering attractive hotel accommodations and high-tech meeting space for corporate clients, civic organizations and tourists, according to Aimbridge.

The Sheraton McKinney Hotel features wireless broadband, a full-service restaurant and lounge, and full fitness facility. All guestrooms and suites are outfitted with the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, as well as an oversized work space, high-speed Internet and LCD flat-panel television.

“The Sheraton McKinney is a beautiful property in a wonderful community, and we are excited to add it to our portfolio. Our management team is doing a remarkable job. We anticipate the current level of high occupancy and brisk bookings will only increase in this popular market,” stated Dave Johnson, president and CEO, Aimbridge Hospitality.
