WASHINGTON, DC—The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation (AH&LEF) has adopted a new logo and graphic look designed to reflect its mission and focus. It also incorporated a new tagline—Invest Educate Empower—to capture the core focus of the non-profit.
Earlier this year, new logos were unveiled by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) and the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (EI).
The foundation’s new graphic look echoes the one launched by AH&LA earlier this year, in conjunction with the association’s new membership and advocacy model. This new graphic identity, which will appear in all future materials, collateral and media, is more current and sophisticated while holding true to the foundation’s mission, according to the foundation
“We are proud to unveil this exciting new look for AH&LEF, one that gives us a fresh, modern look matching our current mission,” stated AH&LEF President/COO Joori Jeon. “Each year, the foundation provides valuable scholarship funding and research opportunities for deserving men and women in the hospitality industry, who represent the future of our industry. This new logo is a strong reflection of our commitment to and focus on developing that future.”
Earlier this year, AH&LEF’s Board of Trustees also revamped its mission and vision statements to focus on the people who benefit from its work. The new mission is the following: “Through strategic fundraising and prudent investment management, the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation provides resources for hospitality-related education, research projects, and vital opportunities that benefit the lodging industry.”
The new vision statement is the following: “AH&LEF is the industry’s philanthropic organization, dedicated to helping people build careers that improve their lives and strengthen the lodging industry.”
