AH&LA Offers Members Health Insurance

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) has launched a national health insurance plan for the lodging community. Through a partnership with Columbia, SC-based Palmer & Cay Consulting Group, hoteliers can purchase this incentive through AH&LA’s website. Under this new AH&LA-sponsored plan, member state associations can endorse and offer health services to their property members. Last month, AH&LA introduced another benefit to its members— an employment practices liability insurance program, offering protection to employers in connection with certain types of lawsuits, including employees claiming wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment and violations of the ADA.
