HOUSTON, TX— The American Hotel & Lodging Associations (AH&LA) Information Center has transferred its archival materials, vertical files, and book collection to the University of Houstons Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management here. Serving as a collection point and source of travel and tourism data, the Information Center lists a filing system of 70,000 current articles on 2,500 topics, a library of 3,000 books, and subscriptions to a number of magazines and newsletters. With receipt of these materials, the university will continue to conduct research requests and track industry news. It was noted that this service also will remain complimentary to AH&LA members as part of their association benefits.
