NEW YORK— With a year left to go on his five year contract as President/CEO of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the associations Board of Directors offered Joseph McInerney a five-year extension in recognition of the excellent job he is doing in turning the groups role in the industry around. However, McInerney only accepted for three years explaining that he will then be 70 years old at that point and wanted to be free to consider his options.
