WASHINGTON DC The American Hotel Foundation (AHF) has appointed Shelley Gillespie as manager of marketing and communications. In the new position, Gillespie will publicize the foundations support of scholarship programs for the hospitality industry, develop and enhance industry training programs, research initiatives and assist the industry in utilizing the most current technology services.
Gillespie has more than 20 years of marketing, public relations, communications and sales experience in both private and public sectors. She was previously employed by Titmus Optical, a manufacturer of safety eyewear. (1/8/01)
