WASHINGTON, D.C. The American Hotel Foundation (AHF) will be auctioning off a rare collection of vintage luggage tags at the American Hotel & Motel Association (AH&MA) Annual Conference & Leadership Forum-The Lodging Expo in Chicago on April 5, 2001 at 3 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall. AHF will use proceeds of the auction for support of hospitality scholarships, research efforts, and technology initiatives.

The collection of tags, donated by Chicago hotel advertising executive Bob Stein, dates from the 1920-40s and represents both domestic and foreign properties. (2/27/01)
