NEW YORK—Located near Madison Square Garden and Pennsylvania Station, Affinia Manhattan has completed the final phase of a two-year, $33-million renovation.
Each of the hotel’s guestrooms and suites have been redesigned by design firm Rockwell Group. The renovation expanded the property’s inventory for a total of 618 guest rooms, including 84 one- and two-bedroom suites, with several featuring kitchens and terraces with views of the city skyline.
“The fully renovated Affinia Manhattan was designed to create an urban retreat that reflects the hotel’s playground, which is New York City,” said Joe Kelly, Affinia Manhattan’s general manager. “Our guests have the best of both worlds—the vibrancy of the Big Apple and the comfort-focused details they’ve come to expect from the Affinia brand.”
Owned and operated by Denihan Hospitality Group, Affinia Manhattan also features a completely renovated grand lobby, corridor areas, and meetings and events space. Designed by Rottet Studio, the hotel’s meetings and events space totals 10,000 sq. ft. and features state-of-the-art technology. The firm chose neutral tones as the backdrop, incorporating splashes of green, orange and red.
