INDIANAPOLIS— Adam’s Mark Hotels & Resorts hit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Memorial Day weekend as a new sponsor of George Mack, the second African-American driver to ever qualify for the Indianapolis 500. Mack is considered to be one of the top 50 drivers in kart racing history and is the first African-American to win three Grand National events. “We’re very excited to team up with one of the most exciting, up and coming drivers in open wheel racing,” said Kevin Gallagher, general manager of the Adam’s Mark Indianapolis-Downtown hotel. The sponsorship of Mack and his minority-owned 110 Racing Team is the first Indy Racing League involvement for the upscale hotel chain, which has also been a past supporter of NASCAR racing. The George Mack sponsorship reflects an ongoing commitment by Adam’s Mark to support minority initiatives.
