ST. LOUIS— Adam’s Mark Hotels & Resorts is introducing advanced Internet booking technology to expand online reservations and provide new tools to enhance customer relationships. The new system will provide online reservations at any of the 24 Adam’s Mark hotels for corporate travel accounts, starting in mid-January. Corporate travel managers can arrange for business travelers to book rooms at the confidential, negotiated rate on the hotel website at www.adamsmark.com or through a link on corporate Intranets. Group travel participants will be able to book room reservations online beginning next spring. “We are very pleased to give our valued corporate travel partners and meeting clients the 24/7 convenience and accessibility of online reservations, said Fred Kummer III, executive vice president and COO for Adam’s Mark. Kummer said the new technology will speed the reservations process while ensuring accuracy and consistency of data. Other features include: — The ability for all Adam’s Mark guests to book rental cars on the hotel’s website by next spring, and to include their car reservation and room information in one convenient itinerary. The site will enable travelers to display available cars, by market and by date, from selected rental car agencies. — A secure client profile system that includes a new “QuickTrip” feature for repeat bookers. — An advanced feature enabling Adam’s Mark to establish customized and secure online booking for special clients, events and Internet promotions. — E-mail confirmation of online reservations. The new Internet booking system is being developed for Adam’s Mark by Amadeus, a leading global distribution system (GDS) and travel industry technology provider.
