WALTHAM, MA Wyndham International has formed an agreement with adAlive, developers of Internet access-points for PDA users, to launch a beta test of the adAlive service at the Wyndham hotel here.

Using adAlive, guests can walk up to the access-point located in the lobby, point their PDAs infrared port at it, and get access to content and services.

The new service allows guests to download Boston city guides from 10Best.com, send and receive email with any POP3 account, sync Palm applications, such as the AvantGo mobile Internet service quickly and easily, and download additional information about hotel services. (5/15/01)
