PARIS— Sven Boinet, head of hotel activities and a member of Accor SA’s management board, has resigned and will leave the company at the end of this year, a spokeswoman for the company said. According to a Dow Jones report, Boinet, 15-year Accor veteran, said in an interview with French daily Le Figaro: “After 15 years… I thought I had to choose between remaining number two on (chief executive) Jean-Marc Espaliouxs side, or take a new direction. I have decided to develop other personal projects.” No decision has yet been made on Boinets replacement. However, Le Figarosuggested Boinet may not be replaced, with Espalioux taking on more responsibilities in the company, which called the suggestion speculation on the part of the newspaper.
