NEW YORK Accor has announced that it will sell a majority stake in its restaurant business, Courtepaille, as part of its strategy to focus on its core hotels and service activities. A 60% stake will be sold to the investment fund Barclays Private Equity and managers of the 116 Courtepaille restaurants will receive a 20% stake. The deal values Courtepaille at Euro 126.5 million.
