Valor Expands Global Footprint
Valor Hospitality Partners, a management company that owns and operates more than 75 hotels in the U.S., Africa, Asia and Europe, has launched Valor Middle East in Dubai. The new division is the first of its kind in the region, according to the company.
Valor Middle East will provide hotel owners and brands with a wide range of full-service, third-party management offerings, including food and beverage, capital raise, sales and marketing and hotel development services.
Valor’s reach includes a recent extension into the Sub-Saharan region of Africa, where it signed an exclusive agreement with IHG. Through this partnership, the companies will roll out multiple franchise hotels over the next 10 years.
Salamander to Manage Jamaica’s Half Moon
The board of directors of Half Moon, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts (PHR) Legend Collection and resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, selected Salamander Hotels & Resorts to manage the 400-acre property.
Specializing in independent luxury, Salamander owns and manages the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, VA, and Innisbrook Resort in Tampa, FL. The company also operates the new Hotel Bennett in Charleston, SC; The Henderson in Destin, FL; and the recently renovated Hammock Beach Resort, near St. Augustine, FL.
Maverick to Manage Crowne Plaza Chicago SW Burr Ridge
Maverick Hotels and Restaurants has been awarded the management contract for the Crowne Plaza Chicago SW Burr Ridge hotel in Burr Ridge, IL. Located at 300 S Frontage Rd., the newly renovated hotel has modern guestrooms complete with premium bedding, blackout drapes, 43-in. LCD televisions with premium channels, large desks with ergonomic chairs and free WiFi internet access.
