ATLANTA— Six Continents Hotels has named Prince-Bush-Smith Investments of Winter Park, FL, as its 2001 Franchisee of the Year. This marks the first time Six Continents Hotels has presented the $50,000 award, which recognizes quality scores, revenue generation, participation in marketing programs, development of Six Continents Hotels brands and other key accomplishments as measured by the company. Prince-Bush-Smith Investments owns and operates three full-service Holiday Inn hotels, including the Mulberry Inn in downtown Savannah, GA, the Holiday Inn Historic District in downtown Charleston, SC, and the Holiday Inn at the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood, FL Airport. All three hotels are “Torchbearer Award” winners for being among the top 50 hotels in Six Continents Hotels’ Americas region. For 2001, Prince-Bush-Smith Investments also received two awards for the Holiday Inn Historic District in downtown Charleston, SC. Employee Mitchell Linder received the GM of the Year award and employee Dave Salzillo received the Maintenance Engineer of the Year award.
