5 Miami Beach Hotels Sold

MIAMI Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell (EWM) Realtors Commercial Division has brokered the sale of six properties five hotels and one apartment building in Miami Beach s Cultural Arts District. The properties were sold as a package and will be rehabilitated as a unified hotel with more than 200 rooms. The buyer was Shane Rolls, a hotel and residential developer, which purchased the group of assets for $9.5 million.

The six properties include the Adams Hotel, the Tyler Hotel, the Collins Park Hotel, Sun King Apartments, Lord Charles Apartment Hotel and Gamshire Apartment Hotel. The yet-to-be-created hotel, which has not yet been named, will be located in close proximity to the Miami Beach Convention Center and the Miami City Ballet. (4/18/01)
