Onyx CenterSource Appoints Steve Reynolds as CIO
Onyx CenterSource has appointed Steve Reynolds as CIO. He previously was president and CTO of BT Advisors, Dallas, which provides business technology leadership expertise and services to companies of all sizes. From 2004 to 2012, he was EVP and CIO of Harland Clarke, San Antonio, a company that provides integrated payment, marketing and security solutions to financial services and enterprise clients. He was EVP and CIO of Pegasus Solutions Inc., the former parent company of Onyx CenterSource, from 1992 to 2003.
IVvy Expands Executive Team to Support Global Growth
IVvy has expanded its executive team: The global events and hospitality technology company promoted Courtney Robinson to CMO; Rachael Grimsey joined the company as chief sales officer; and Kim Van Coller is the new head of strategic partnerships. All three executives are responsible for ensuring accountability and consistency in the company’s global sales, marketing and partnerships.
Global Hotel Alliance Appoints Global Head of Development
GHA has appointed James Simmonds to the newly created role of global head of development. Prior to joining GHA, he held senior development roles at Belmond, Rosewood Hotel Group and Mubadala Investment Company.
Olshan Properties Names Ernie Cantanzaro Head of Hospitality
Olshan Properties has appointed Ernie Catanzaro as head of hospitality. A 30-year veteran of the hotel industry, he joins Olshan Properties from Great Neck, NY-based United Capital Corp., where, as regional director, he was responsible for a portfolio of full service hotels and resorts. He has worked across the country in senior management positions.
Sheraton Austin Georgetown Appoints Patrick Taylor as Executive Chef
Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel & Conference Center has appointed Patrick Taylor as executive chef. Bringing 15 years of culinary and hotel experience to the Sheraton Austin Georgetown, he was most recently the executive chef at The Westin Austin at the Domain’s Urban. Previous to that he was the executive chef at the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown’s Millioke. Prior to Millioke, Taylor held various positions, including a stint as sous chef at The Westin Austin at the Domain, executive chef at The Westin Houston Memorial City, regional executive chef at Cru A Food and Wine Bar overseeing three restaurants, and banquet chef at the Adolphus in Dallas.
