CALGARY VIP International has inked an agreement with John Q. Hammons Hotels to represent four of the company s independent hotels. The properties include the University Plaza Hotel in Bowling Green, KY; the Collins Plaza Hotel in Cedar Rapids, IA; the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka, KS; and Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City. VIP International will provide these independent properties with the same reservation management system and channel marketing capabilities John Q. Hammons Hotels major franchise hotels receive. VIP is equipping the four independent hotels with the SynXis reservations system for GDS connectivity, SynXis Agent, and Internet distribution by SynXis Book-A-Rez. (3/26/01)
