SANTA BARBARA, CA— A 97-room luxury boutique hotel is now set for a December opening here. Called the Hotel Andalucia, the $32-million property will feature an old-world Spanish design. The five-story hotel will feature an outdoor terrace, an outdoor fireplace, a rooftop Jacuzzi and pool, an 80-seat restaurant called 31 West, and 5,000-sf of meeting space. Richard Sanders of Sanders Investments and John Tynan of the Tynan Group are developing the hotel. Cearnal Architects and J.G. Johnson Associates are the project’s architects. The hotel’s management company will be Edward Thomas Companies.
